Tips for Renting Algarve Holiday Villas

By Steve Woodward

Even though the Algarve, Portugal is a favorite destination with tourists from around Europe the actual area has not been spoiled in the same ways as those tourists spots in Spain have been. Even today you will find plenty of good quality Algarve holiday villas to rent which are to be found in some of the most beautiful and unspoilt locations possible.

Certainly, one of the main reasons for why people flock to the Algarve each year is because of its beautiful beaches of which there are over 100 miles of them. Plus this is a country, which has high levels of sunshine throughout the year. On average, the Algarve offers more than 3,000 hours of sunshine throughout the year. Plus as you will soon discover the food offered here is of good quality and which will in many cases either have been grown or caught locally.

When it comes to you renting a villa in the Algarve there are a few things that you need to take into consideration along with the cost of renting it. You will also need to factor in the costs for what you will have to spend on food including eating in restaurants, the cost of hiring a car and getting your flights.

When it comes to which kind of villa you will be able to rent, you will find that you have a wide selection to choose from. You can rent ones that offer you the kind of luxury you have only dreamt of to ones that are much more affordable. Plus they all come in a number of different shapes and sizes and what amenities they offer.

On average you could expect to pay anywhere between 320 ($640) to as much as 570 ($1,140) a week. But what price you pay will depend on the quality of the villa along with what time of the year you will be renting it at. Certainly renting a villa in the Algarve in the high season (June, July and August) is going too much more than, if you were to rent one in say March or September.

Another factor that on what price you will pay for your villa rental is what facilities and amenities are offered with. If you choose to rent a property that, have its own private swimming pool and a maid service then expect to pay more than you would for a villa that does not have these.

All you really need to bring with you is a suitcase with your holiday clothes in and of course yourselves. Plus the majority of villas also have satellite TV installed so you have the opportunity in the evenings to let the kids chill out before they go to bed, especially after a full days activities.

When deciding upon which size villa it is you want to rent you need to take into account the number of people that will staying with you. Remember the more people the bigger the villa required and the more this is going to cost to rent. However, the cost per person whilst staying in such a property is reasonable compared to what you would have to pay when staying in a hotel.

When you are trying to find the ideal Algarve holiday villas to rent then the best place to start searching for them is by going online. Not only will you find just what it is you want and need, but you may well find that you get a great deal on the price of the rental as well.
